Transforming the Sydney Opera House with Light
The French design team Superbien has transformed the Sydney Opera House with an exciting psychedelic lighting projection onto the building’s iconic sails. This unique lighting artwork also includes a beautifully coordinated soundscape. The 2011 piece starts with a homage to the geometric architecture of Jorn Utzon’s and then moves into organic and psychedelic forms.
The lighting of the Opera House sails is a three year long tradition initially implemented by Brian Eno in 2009.
