Illuminate Your Railing with LEDs

Having trouble finding an answer to how to illuminate a staircase or outdoor deck without step lights and create lighting for safety and great design?

Well, Efficient-Tec International has LED lighting integrated in the railing for residential projects. As the images show, if frosted glass panels are used they glow beautifully.

Indoor or outdoor the look is slick and clean. It is ordered by the foot and offered in stainless steel only.

Lightfair 2012 – Smart Smart Smart !!!

What do you do if you want to replace your mixture of 4 and 6 recessed fixtures from incandescent or fluorescent to LED??? Consider the LED module from DMF Light.

DMF Light has come up with an LED module (see fixture below) which accommodates a 4 or 6 trim. So you just buy the module and select trim size and finish.

Easy and Customizable Outdoor Lighting by Vibia

Last year (2011) at Euroluce in Milan, I got a chance to view Vibia’s new outdoor portable fixtures. And the Halley Exterior Lamp’s outstanding, yet simplistic design is one of the best I’ve seen. The Halley Outdoor Lamp is a portable outdoor fixture featuring rows of LEDs encompassing a truly unique design, making this a conversation piece for years to come. Available in three different configurations and designed by Jordi Vilardell and Meritxell Vidal, this ground-wall structure is easy to set up and dismantle. The Halley Exterior Lamp is customizable to many different outdoor spaces, and provides a comfortable, even light.

Lightopia Hosts the ASID Dream Home Brunch

What a great time Lightopia had hosting the Mimosa Brunch on March 18th, 2012 at the SoCo Collection in Costa Mesa, California. The brunch was held at the ASID OC Dream Home benefiting the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The food and beverage was generously donated by local businesses. Excellent breakfast burritos, mini scones, mini-quiche, gourmet coffee, much more and of course, Mimosa’s.

A Real Show Stopper from Tech Lighting

The new Inner World Pendant by Tech Lighting is spectacular! The outer glass shade, a 20 diameter mouth blown in Murano has a subtle texture that gives it a watery feel. The inner shade is satiny frosted glass, a beautiful pairing. Another style of this magnificent piece comes with a trio of the Classic Edison bulbs, with the exposed filament.
