Tokyo’s Symphony of Lights

This year’s  Hotaru Festival  in Tokyo  featured 100,000 glowing blue LED orbs, marking the lighting of the world’s largest tower; Tokyo’s new Sky Tree Tower.  This unique light display was part of an art installation ‘Hikari no Symphony’  (or symphony of light) displayed in Tokyo’s  Sumida River. Hikari’s  LED eye-candy combined with the Skytree Tower’s alternating displays of skyblue and purple LEDs has brought a new light to Tokyo.
