5 Ideas to Upgrade your Fan’s Appearance

If you are in a position where you do not have the option to completely change out your fan, I have some other options for you. These options include changing certain aspects of the fans appearance.

Option #1 –  Change the fans glass shades.

1) Changing the fans glass shades can completely upgrade your fans appearance. However, keep in mind that not all fans are the same size. With varying sized components available, be sure that before you purchase an item it will meet the  measurements  required by your current fan. Also some fans will have 2-4 glass shades. Make sure you order the correct amount to meet your fans needs.

Is your exterior lighting Dark Sky Compliant?

The International Dark-Sky  Association believes that our  society has lost site of the night sky stars and planets.  Is it possible that our street lights are extinguishing our  inherent  connection with the natural world? The International Dark-Sky  Association  promotes simple (back to the basics) ideas: light what you need, when you need it and where you need it.

Why do LEDs flicker when used with a dimmer?

You may be a newbie to LEDs, or maybe you have recently installed a dimmer for your LED lights.  When converting your old incandescents or CFLs over to LED you may experience a change in lighting behavior.
