The Lomme bed design’s cozy appeal looks like a place where one could retire from a hard days work. Sometimes we all just need that space with just the right light, sounds and comfort to bring us back to a place of peace. Lomme means pocket in Norwegian, and although the bed looks like an abstract pocket taken from one of Woody Allen’s interpretations of the future, this modern design’s name stands for “Light Over Matter Mind Evolution”.

Made of birch wood and an assortment of metals, the designers incorporation of common desk components into one clean sleek unit encourages even the messiest writers to keep it tidy.
Arteriors 52 Bottle Vintage Chandelier
Over the years designers have been experimenting with what they could do with glass bottles. New designs have opened up a whole new world of glass bottle lighting sculptures. The lighting company Arteriors Home has had some involvement. Here are two examples of what they have accomplished via a metal frame, a light source, and 52 vintage bottles.
